Meet the Presenter: Greg Savage MRCSA (Life)
With a career spanning thirty years, Greg is an icon in the Australian recruitment industry, and a regular keynote speaker at staffing and recruitment conferences across the globe.

In the early years, Greg managed the London office of the United Kingdom’s largest accounting recruiter for two years before returning to Australia to run the Sydney office of Accountancy Placements (now the Hays Group), where he was invited to join the board of directors at age 27.

In 1987, Greg founded Recruitment Solutions, and built the company to sales of $60,000,000 per annum, staff of close to 200 and with 8 offices around Australia. In July 1998 Recruitment Solutions was successfully listed on the Australian Stock Exchange, with Greg as both Executive Director and COO.

Greg joined Aquent in April 2001 as Asia Pacific CEO, and was promoted in 2005 to Aquent International CEO, assuming responsibility for all Aquent’s businesses outside of North America, which today includes 25 offices across Europe, the United Kingdom, India, South East Asia, China, Japan, Australia and New Zealand.

Greg is currently Global CEO of Firebrand Talent Search, 
formerly the permanent and search division of Aquent.

Greg is an honours graduate in Psychology, and in recognition of his contribution to the Australian recruitment industry, in 2004 Greg was made an Honorary Life Member of the RCSA – the Recruitment and Consulting Services Association.
