MSP Managing Successful Programmes Practitioner

Managing Successful Programmes is an OGC internationally accredited methodology coming from the same stable as PRINCE2.

The framework ensures that a structured environment is established to allow the strategic direction to be set and projects effectively to be managed to achieve the corporate goals.  This structured environment ensures that the interests of the stakeholders are taken into account and the role of the Business Change Manager is detailed to ensure that there is a single person responsible for the transition of the final product from each project into its operational environment.

Throughout the approach there are mechanisms in place to allow the controlled decision-making at a high and appropriate level to drive the programmes and ensure that the desired outcomes are delivered.  This methodology is of significant relevance due to the trend towards reducing project size and managing a series of interlinked projects providing earlier benefits.

This best practice guidance has been structured around the MSP framework based on three core concepts:

                                                                o          Principles

                                                                o          Governance Themes
