Marketing from the Desk is a full day workshop with Karen Palmer MRCSA which has been designed to provide participants with techniques to develop the right attitude and motivation to pick up the phone for the purpose of prospecting.
Prospecting is a vital part of the sales process and is necessary for success in the recruitment and consulting services industry.
We cannot underestimate the importance of building relationships in a competitive market. This program will offer practical tips on how to change the way you do business.
Learning Outcomes • Understand the need for a disciplined approach to marketing and how it benefits our bottom line. • Identify different methods to market such as reference checking, client seminars and lunches. • Learn techniques to successfully secure client visits over the phone and how to market candidates and get an interview. • Implement strategies to develop your relationships so that they add real value to clients. • Discover how many calls, visits, jobs and placements are needed to make an impact on your monthly commission.

About the Presenter Karen Palmer MRCSA After 14 years in the Human Resources & Recruitment industry Karen has developed a comprehensive understanding and talent for recruitment consulting.
Karen has had many years of experience within the Recruitment industry, including Temporary & Permanent Consulting, Account Management, Operations Management, Project Management and Field Coaching.
For over 5 years Karen has had the responsibility and privilege of training, “one on one” with new employees of all levels.
In her most current role as a qualified TAA (Trainer and Assessor), Karen, as a Field Coach, has NSW, Queensland, Northern Territory and the ACT in her portfolio.
She appreciates that we are all individuals, with different learning styles and abilities. “It is very rewarding to assist and encourage people to develop independently and successfully.”
