This workshop is designed for consultants who are starting to build a desk, in either temporary or permanent recruitment, and who are looking for the tools and techniques to enable them to achieve great results quickly.
A half day workshop with Ross Clennett MRCSA for rookie and newer consultants, both temp and perm, that shows you how to build a desk from the ground up by understanding your target market and how to reach them over the telephone and in person.
Areas covered in this workshop include: • The difference between business building and business processing – how much time you should be spending in each area • Identifying your Top 5 high pay-off business building activities • How to build your effectiveness quickly in each of these key activities • Organising your day and week for maximum effectiveness • How to make prospect calls and conduct prospect visits for maximum impact • How to recognise the clients you should not work with and the jobs you should say no to • Profit killers – what are they? How do you recognise them? How to avoid them • Quality conversations – what really makes a difference with others • Key techniques that assist you to stand out from your competitors with your prospects even if you’re a rookie recruiter
Who Should Attend This workshop is ideally suited to both temporary and permanent consultants with up to 18 mths experience or consultants who have taken the step from being a para-consultant or admin role into a full fledged client focused position.
Alternatively, those more experienced consultants /team leaders/ general managers who are looking for a refresher to assist in the coaching of their team would also benefit by attending.
Metholology This is a facilitated interactive workshop with a maximum of 10 participants.
About Our Presenter Ross Clennett MRCSA Ross is a recruitment expert.
Since 2003 Ross has been an in-demand expert on recruitment and the recruitment industry in Australia. Ross imparts his expertise through speaking, training, consulting, writing and coaching.
As a professional recruiter, between 1989 and 2003, Ross screened over 80,000 resumes, interviewed over 3,000 people and successfully placed over 500 people in work. Over this time he worked in London, Sydney, Adelaide and Melbourne. He has been professionally recognised by the designation, MRCSA (Accredited Recruitment Professional) awarded by the Recruitment & Consulting Services Association (Aus & NZ).
Ross is a Master Practioner of NLP as well as having gained his original qualifications at the University of Tasmania in the faculty of economics and commerce (B.Ec. 1988). Ross’s opinion pieces and skill development articles are regularly published in recruitment industry magazines and on specialist recruitment websites, both in Australia and in the USA.
