About the Presenter: Gaynor Lowndes
With 25 years of experience as a top-billing recruitment consultant and team leader in both Australia and the UK, Gaynor has a first-rate understanding of the business world and its challenges. In 2001, Gaynor set up The Recruitment Training Company, principally to supply much needed skills training to professional recruiters. She has worked with and for some highly respected names within the industry.
Commencing her career with a large multi-national firm, Gaynor quickly climbed the ranks from consultant to senior consultant, business development manager, and branch, divisional and state manager. Her achievements include:
Growing 3 cold Accounting and Finance desks to high revenue desks
Taking a temp/contractor desk from 0 to 1.2million in 12 months
Consistently ranked in top 20 (out of 300+ consultants) in Hays League tables in the UK during the worst recession the country had ever seen
Started the Alectus Accounting brand and was consistently selling retainers and client paid advertising in the accounting support space
Won in excess of $56 Million worth of recruitment sales in less than 12 months in the banking and finance sector
Played a pivotal role in the staffing of the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games
Increasing word-of-mouth and demand for her practical and inspirational team mentoring led Gaynor to train as a coach in 2008 and she is also trained in NLP, Cognitive Behaviour therapy and hypnotherapy. She draws on all of these modalities in her training and coaching to achieve best practice in imparting knowledge and confidence in her clients.
Gaynor is a published author and respected industry commentator, regularly appearing on ABC JJJ speaking on employment and generational issues. As well as training, Gaynor has a large coaching practice where she coaches and mentors all levels from new consultant to CEO.
Her clients tell her she offers the most practical and measurable training in the industry. She is passionate about helping recruiters reach their potential.
