In this hands-on workshop,you will:
- Use Powerpoint or Keynote to create a visual text using and attributing creative common licensed work (could alternatively use Comic Life, iMovie or KidPix based on your interest and skills).
- Be introduced to copyright basics for using images
- Find and attribute images
- Look at where visual literacy fits in the curriculum
- Explore sources for images, sound and video on the internet
- Explore ways to annotate work to assess Visual Literacy Outcomes
Our environment is Apple Mac – but the skills are transferable to a PC environment.
Limited to 15 participants
Suitable for all Year Levels – Examples will be from primary students.
