Welcome! This course will provide an overview of the obligations required of Responsible Managers (formerly Responsible Officers) and refresh some of the fundamental features of the financial services reform regime.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Key Agenda Items will include:

1) RM roles: “undertaking the specific tasks and requirements of the licensee” defining the extent of the RM role, as an officer who performs duties in connection with the holding of the AFSL.

2) RM Status Maintenance: highlighting ongoing requirements; and

3) RM Legal Responsibilities & Liabilities: Explain the extent and the potential of legal liabilities of RM and their obligations of care, diligence and good faith as ‘officers’ of the corporation.

4) RM Surviving a regulator visit

Cancellations

Registration may be transferred to another person up until the date of training, with written notice, and without incurring any additional fee. Cancellations prior to 7 days before will attract a cancellation fee of$350. Cancellations on or after 7 days prior to the course will require payment of the full course fee.
